We appreciate your business and want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your new 8 Rivers® Rod! That is why we have warranty programs and a 30 day no questions asked return policy. Our incredible Five Year Trade In - Trade Up accidental coverage program allows our Rod owners to receive discounts towards a new 8 Rivers® Rod purchase (minimum 10% discount)!  This program supplements our manufacturer's warranty and begins from the original date of purchase.


8 Rivers® 5 Year Trade In - Trade Up Accidental Breakage Program

  8 Rivers® offers to the original retail customer holding an original receipt of purchase our accidental breakage coverage program for five years from the date of purchase. This program allows our customers to be eligible to receive a discount off the purchase price of any new 8 Rivers® Rod!

If you break your 8 Rivers® Rod accidentally during the coverage time period;

(1) Email a copy of your original receipt of purchase along with a clearly defined picture of the damaged Rod pieces together to: tightlines@8Riversflyrods.com

(2) We will respond to your email with details including;  discount amount towards a new 8 Rivers® rod and how to make the purchase.

This accidental breakage program covers all 8 Rivers® fishing rod purchases.

2 Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty & Limited Lifetime Fly Rod Warranty

  8 Rivers® warrants to the original retail customer holding an original receipt of purchase that the rod is free from non conformities in materials and construction. This warranty begins from the date of purchase for 2 years (Limited Lifetime to the original owner of any 8 Rivers® Fly Rod). We will, at our option, replace any non-conforming 8 Rivers® rod with a same type or similar rod when any non-conforming 8 Rivers® rod is returned to us. Please include a POSTAGE PREPAID* payment AND a copy of your receipt of purchase when returning a rod. In all cases, this Limited 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty (Limited Lifetime to the original owner of any 8 Rivers® Fly Rod) is limited in value to the original retail value of the fishing rod originally purchased and is solely limited to actual damage to the rod originally purchased.

If you feel your rod broke due to a defect, please:

(1) Email us to let us know you are shipping the Rod to us: tightlines@8Riversflyrods.com

(2) Be sure to include a note explaining how it broke and any details along with your POSTAGE PREPAID* payment AND a copy of your original receipt of purchase included in the Rod package.

(3) Upon inspection, if found to be a non-warranty breakage, you will receive an email with cost options for replacing your rod or rod sections.

  This Limited 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty & Limited Lifetime Fly Rod warranty does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. As State law varies, some states do not allow limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty DOES NOT cover normal wear and tear on the product such as and not limited to, chipped cork, guide breakage, rust and other deterioration or decomposition; any type of modification(s) made to the original product or the original product after any modifications are made; any type of action(s) or usage either intentional or accidental that damages or exerts undue pressure(s) on the Rod that will effect the longevity of the Rod and its use; such as and not limited to; using line and/or lures above the stated Rod capacity; high sticking: improper storage resulting in Rod breakage under fishing conditions that match the Rod manufacturers specifications; excessive UV exposure or ANY other type of damaging exposure or actions including acts of God.

This warranty covers 8 Rivers fishing rods sold after September 1, 2018.

*A $30 Shipping and handling fee (check or money order) must be enclosed with each returned rod.


8 Rivers® 30 day no questions asked Return Policy (Buyer pays shipping).

  8 Rivers® offers to the original retail customer holding an original receipt of purchase  our 30 day no questions asked Return Policy. Rod must be returned in UNUSED CONDITION.

If you decide to return your 8 Rivers® Rod during the 30 day time period;

(1) Email a copy of your original receipt of purchase along with what type of Rod you are returning to: tightlines@8Riversflyrods.com

(2) Ship the Rod in a disposable container and include enough insurance for the shipment to cover the retail price of the Rod. 8 Rivers®  is not responsible for any damage during return shipment.
